Hi everybody

Just letting you know that the infection in my foot is gone, and all I have now is PT to go though. I can drive but it has been so long I might have to learn how to drive again (lol). It has been a long 5 months. I go back to work next week but only on light duty so this week is going to be a vacation week for me. I still have to use one crutch but getting out and taking photographs won't be that hard. I went out yesterday and shot some pictures of Cedar Waxwings and got some really good shots. Hurricane Earl is heading up this way by tomorrow so going out to Beavertail Lighthouse tonight for the sunset and the waves which should be big. Hopefully the clouds from the storm will be just right for the sunset. The storm will be done by early Saturday morning and I am doing a Raptor shoot in the late morning. I am trying to catch up on 5 months of missed opportunities.

Hi Everybody

  Two more surgeries one more hospital stay 2 more weeks of antibiotics and 2 more weeks of non weight bearing on my foot. Infections are not good,

I know I haven't been on for awhile, but as some of you know I had surgery on my foot in early April. Well it has not been a good last couple of months. I did get to the point where I was able to drive and get around for maybe two and a half weeks. I even got to go back to work but for only 3 days, when I came down with an infection in my foot. Spent four days in the hospital and am now back to square one when I had the surgery in April. I did get to go out shooting a couple of times when I was able to, but now I'm back to a non weight bearing on my foot and crutches.

Yes I am still here. I haven't done anything in a while because I went on vacation to Florida then came back and had surgery on my foot which is putting me out of commission for a little while. I went to the doctors yesterday, and was fitted with an air cast boot so getting around even though slow will let me do limited things. Sorry for not responding to everybody who sent me messages and to all of the people who Faved my pictures I really Appreciate it. I will be posting some more in a little while. I think I have some pictures that you will like from my trip and a couple from before I went in for the surgery.

FINALLY

It has been a while since I wrote something here. Getting ready for a trip to Florida. Planning on visiting family and doing some photography and going to attractions. I am planning to visit the Rookery at Gatorland. I have not been there before but I read where you can go in before they open and get some morning shots of the birds on the nests.
